After participating in the morning session from the Food Finance Institute, join us for an afternoon of agri-business tours leaving from SentryWorld (bus tour):
- Feltz Dairy - See first hand some of the latest innovative technology the dairy industry has to offer. You will have a chance to see robotic milking, the latest in cow comfort, how automation plays an important role on our farm, and even a trip to see the baby calves. Tour will include a small scoop ice cream treat in the store.
- Great Northern Distillery - spirits are crafted in small batches in our handmade copper still. Our process starts with sourcing the highest quality ingredients from local farmers. Whether it is potatoes for our vodka, grain for our whiskey or fruit for our brandy, we are committed to sustainable sourcing from within 150 miles of the distillery. Take a seat at the mixology bar to enjoy a cocktail or take home a bottle to develop a libation all your own.
- O'so Brewery - Our final stop will be the Oso Brewery Tap House.
- The tours will return to SentryWorld to enjoy the opening reception of the Fall Conference.
The tours are a fundraiser for the Wisconsin Economic Development Institue (WEDI). WEDI is the foundation of the Wisconsin Economic Development Association.

Refund, Cancellation and No-Show Policy
- Substitutions will be accepted at any time.
- All registered attendees cancelling their registration (except for Basic Economic Development Course), will be charged a $30 processing fee, regardless of when the cancellation notice was received. Cancellations must be received in writing by mail or email to WEDA (e-mail: weda@weda.org). Basic Economic Development cancellation see last bullet
- Cancellations received in writing two days prior to the event, will be refunded or credited to a future WEDA Conference (less the processing fee).
- There will be no refunds or credits for cancellations received two days prior to the event (after 5:00 PM).
- A registered attendee, who does not submit a written cancellation or attend the conference is considered a No-Show, and is not eligible for a refund or credit.
- A registered attendee, who does not submit a written cancellation or attend the conference, is still liable for any outstanding balances.
- Basic Economic Development Course cancellations are subject to a 25% administrative fee.
By completing purchases with us you agree to have your Credit card and personal information securely stored as part of a payment profile within a 3rd party payment gateway. This securely stored payment profile will be used, when authorized, for automated recurring payments and will allow for easier and faster checkouts. No credit card information is stored within Member365 and all payment data is accessed by way of a secure API. Under no circumstances do we share credit card or personal details.
Who can access the WEDA member portal?
Please note that the WEDA member portal is to be used by members of WEDA only. Certain workspaces within the member portal will be tailored for and restricted to certain membership types; access to these areas will be determined and approved by WEDA staff. The Content that is displayed in your member portal will automatically vary based on your user / membership type.
What can be posted?
To ensure all interactions within the WEDA member portal are safe and friendly, WEDA staff will oversee the member portal activity and will review, edit, and delete any inappropriate content that has been submitted. This includes abusive or offensive language, spam, malicious files, or other disrespectful contact.
