October 4, 2019  12:15 - 13:30
Fee: $0.00
Seats Remaining:3

The Small Business Environmental Council is an appointed body of business representatives and leaders that focus on helping Wisconsin’s Small Businesses work with the DNR. Join us for a lunch forum and share your ideas and experiences while finding out how the Council can help you.

If you develop properties, or own or operate a business where you use solvents, use a boiler, paint or coat, repair vehicles, electroplate, fabricate, handle grain, manufacture, print, service or use refrigeration equipment, work with wood or just have questions about environmental regulations, this forum is for you!

The Council helps make sure that the DNR serves the small business community in smart and effective ways by advising the DNR about how existing rules affect small businesses, providing a small business perspective on proposed regulations, and helping make DNR documents easier to understand.  The governor and the legislature appoint seven members of the Council and the eighth is from the DNR.  Together, they serve as the voice of Wisconsin’s small businesses at the DNR.
